Still working on 100% myself. Having some difficulty defeating Ivy on Hard mode. I'm pretty sure that's not necessary to get 100%, but I want that Achievement. It calls to me, a siren song lilting through the mist, drawing me ever forward towards a terrifying ecstasy.
Ivy on hard IS hard just use Evade then Batarang the Evade again the more batarangs rinse and repeat, use counters and throw to push the henchmen she throws ar you off the edge and you should be fine, took me 10 deaths before i actually got her but shes a pain for sure, i have no wish to do her again >_>
93% for me. A few challenges are all that are left. I suck at the fighting, though, so it may take me a bit. Plus I've got a few games coming from Gamefly, and we're getting digital cable installed tomorrow (yay, DVR!), and then there's work and cleaning and unpacking everything into our new apartment and sexing up my wife and sleeping and I'm sure you get the picture.
@colliny2k It's a tough call as to which is better, as far as capturing the feel of the relevant characters. Wolverine is a great game but the story quite often sucks, while Batman is a great game all around. Wolverine gets more points for me because he's my favorite comic character, so I guess they're about even. Enjoy!
I think I'm about 90+% ... I can't get the hang of the combat challenges. Predator challenges were fun and relatively easy to complete.... it's the patterns and the high points bar that daunts me.
yeah though Wolverine's more of a visceral and...very bloody game, it does get tedious at times. Wash rinse repeat battles, however gory, can get that way. There are also a few insta-death = seething hate WTF moments too. Seriously, guy can fall 1,000 feet out of an exploding heli, but if you take a bad step off a tower you're toast. >:(
I've always wanted to play Wolverine, just 'cause I want to play a game that takes place on Three Mile Island, since I've spent my whole life staring at it - my grandma lives so close that you can easily see the giant towers (like they destroyed in the movie) over the trees and bushes at the back of the yard, and I've spent a good ton of my life at her house.
I kind of want to see if there's any way in the world I can get them to let me play the game on the island just BECAUSE.
@solosnakegr finally got the freeflow perfection achievement. I now don't know what to do with my life. @retodon8 Listen to your fellow geeks. This game is definitely worth the outlay. It is a very good game. Combined with the fact that there haven't been very many good games in 2009 so far, it is going to take something very special to pip this to game of the year.
dual blades... smokebombs... pickpocketing money, then buying people to serve as distractions... disarming and using the enemies' weapons... fun stuff.
I will eventually get back to these achievements, but I've been doing a little CoD4 while waiting for my games to arrive from Gamefly. Stupid USPS. ProTip: Change your shipping address after your address change is processed by the Post Office. Delays your mail by several days, and that's several days you're without new games! We can't have that, not now, not ever!
nah Mykal would kill you for coveting (maybe) his wife, i get away with it because im addict = P or maybe because we are friends i have no clue to be honest.
It's only coveting if you want to start tagging her. And you'd have to take that up with her, because anyone who is not me and trying to have sex with my wife has a much bigger concern than me turning them into damp pulp. She will make you pay. Big time.
I've been trying to get her to post on this site but her heart just hasn't been in it for awhile. I'll keep bugging her about it.
Oh, and somebody hand me a horned helmet, I'm going to sing the Spam song. MPFC is the greatest comedy sketch show EVER. The fact that it was made almost 40 years ago just makes it better.
That's okay. You can covet all you want. Or look all you want. Just no touchy! Unless I say it's okay :P You can even do the dance, just please try not to get jolly ranchers stuck in my hair.
Anyway, about Arkam Asylum, I thought it was a very well made game and I loved the character designs, especially Harleys. Yea, I know, it wasn't traditional, but it still rocked. Good for you, Mishy the Fishy, for getting 100%!
Too much?
